About
Concentrated solar power(CSP) is a well-known concept in renewable energy industry. Enhanced concentrated solar power(ECSP) has similar structure with CSP, but so as to keep reflecting sunlight toward solar receiver instead of using holiostat, we use a moving ZBLAN fiber reflector that locates at the focal points and reflect the sunlight on the solar receiver. The method has some advantages: 1) It eliminate the cost of Holuostats. 2) The ECSP is a big concave mirror that at night can be used as a telescope. 3) Night sky magnifies in the huge concave mirror and this is an attractive view. It adds the commercial value of ECSP by making that a tourism attraction. 4) We can make a tower at center of the mirror which can be used as hotel and restaurant and etc. The size of the concave mirror can be at any size from some ten meters to some kilometers.
