Design Sparks uses your own problem statement as a starting point and helps to generate new insights using established creative problem solving techniques and applied AI. Unlike other chatbots, our tech doesn't simply provide answers scraped from existing data. Our Sparks are curated by humans and designed to encourage you to be your most creative self. You don’t need to type your challenge into the app, you can also paste a URL or upload a pdf and watch the sparks appear. Fast, effective innovation that will immeasurably speed up your process and push your thinking outside of the box into more exciting solutions. Design Sparks is created by The National Centre for Creativity enabled by AI (CebAI), a prestige project working in a fast-moving tech sector. We manipulate creative problem-solving processes using machine learning, among other types of new AI technology. CebAI’s tools are differentiated from chatbots like ChatGPT because of the interactive creativity prompts, curated knowledge, and insights components built-in to the tools. These items challenge human users to co-create new solutions, rather than simply receive existing information gathered from the internet. The centre is funded by Research England, with contributions from City, University of London and over 20 industrial partners. It is a high-profile investment by Research England. The centre’s mission it to develop research-based AI technologies that increase workforce creativity which, in turn, contribute to improved productivity, competitiveness, and critical thinking.
