Our decoupled electrolysis technology utilises a liquid mediator to produce and store hydrogen (and Electrons) allowing it to be safely and efficiently produced when required.

About

We are a spin out from Glasgow University developing groundbreaking research into a commercial product. Our system utilises a liquid mediator to produce and store hydrogen (primarily) for release at a separate time and rates.

Key Benefits

The system allows for the efficient production of low cost green hydrogen and is compatible with direct connection to renewable power sources. Our system is safer than existing systems and stores the hydrogen within the liquid to release when required at pressure without compressed storage or a compressor. Our system can run with multiple water sources and our system is low cost on CAPEX and OPEX and is maintainable. Our system can also be used as a battery to store electrons as well as hydrogen.

Applications

Hydrogen power systems for off grid, back up power, grid balancing etc. Microgram systems, hydrogen production and refuelling systems. Combined heat and power systems.
