Reducing the risk of DVT in long-haul travellers  13m people in the UK fly long-haul (over four hours) every year, with senior executives frequently travelling the world on company business. Patented technology We take a 3D scan of your executives from which we knit 25mmHg compression socks that are independently proven to deliver 50% increased blood return. Our patented technology ensures that the exact pressure profile is then delivered stitch by stitch. This perfect fit means greater comfort. There are no seams that can rub and cause discomfort and no tight top band to impede blood flow. The 10-second 3D scan records approximately 260,000 data points from each limb and is transferred via internet connection to our factory in Manchester, England. This data is converted into an algorithm on a specially-adapted, flat-bed knitting machine, where the exact graduated pressure profile is dialled in (accurate to within 1mmHg). The socks will be made and sent out of our factory within five working days and delivered to the patient or clinic (delivery period depends on distance of postage).
