Permanently mounted sensors and instrumentation for remotely monitoring corrosion rates. Wireless reporting, intrinsically safe, scalable with up to 32 sensors per instrument
About
The instrumentation is high resolution and suitable for monitoring pitting corrosion and determining the rate of metal loss. The system is permanently mounted with low profile sensors that can be installed under cladding and insulation. The system is scalable with up to 32 sensors per instrument which makes it one of the most versatile corrosion monitoring instruments available. Sensors can be individually placed in corrosion problem areas within 50 ft of the instrument box. The station comes in battery powered outdoor versions which require no additional power or communication support in most applications. An indoor version is also available that can be attached to facility power. The system provides highly accurate, hight resolution and repeatable measurements of the rate of change of metal loss due to corrosion.
Key Benefits
Increase the confidence and predictability of your maintenance programs by using high resolution instrumentation to provide results that can be translated into predictions. Continuous monitoring also means that when conditions change, those changes can be monitored by the PIP360 high resolution instrument. The rate of change of metal loss is one of the determining factors Off the scope of work and timing of maintenance repair and replacement. Highly accurate and repeatable information help to reduce risk as well as cost. Continuous monitoring with remote systems can help optimize maintenance programs as well as reduce risk. This also contributes to reducing costs.
Applications
Permanently mounted remote monitoring of corrosion in oil&gas as well as any other applications where corrosion of pipes, vessels, tanks and other infrastructure is a concern
