Current drying technology is based upon 200 year old design that is highly energy inefficient and polluting.We have developed an easy to use, better way to dry bulk raw materials that reduces the amount of energy & costs required and emissions generated by some 75% when compared to traditional equipment.The Coomtech Kinetic Dryer uses drying cartridges which feed the material through a high-velocity air stream, a bank of air knifes exposed to high shear turbulent air flow strips moisture from the surface, moisture is vented and dry material collected. We only need to heat the air to 85°C to carry the moisture, compared to around 600°C to heat the water in current thermal dryer systems.
