CNC is produced mainly from wood pulp and side streams of pulp and paper industry. Melodea developed proprietary eco-friendly production process that includes recovery of the chemicals being used. The process requires minimum OPEX and CAPEX while maintaining Circular economy. In parallel, Melodea is developing CNC based solutions for various industrial application. Main applications include barrier coating for paper, paperboards for packaging in order to replace fossil oil based materials, aluminium foils and other coating materials. Melodea's solutions are green, fully recyclable and biodegradable with high commercial value. Our investors are Holmen from Sweden and Klabin from Brazil. Melodea IP is internationally safeguarded by 10 Patents for CNC production and CNC products.
