Description Calcium-rich cementitious material is mixed with water to form a slurry and than carbon dioxide is bubbled into this slurry. Then, other ingredients of the concrete are added and mixed with the slurry to produce the desired concrete. This produces a concrete mix that is less expensive, stronger, more durable, requires less OPC and promotes the use of waste products such as fly ash. Rotenone treatment results in increased reactive oxygen species production.
