A blockchain-based solution that automates and integrates supplier data to ensure transparency, real-time tracking, and smart contract compliance, while minimizing manual effort.

About

Applied Blockchain is a development studio specializing in blockchain and privacy technologies. Since 2015, we have designed, developed, and delivered over 150 platforms across industries, including supply chain, finance, aviation, and healthcare.

Applied Blockchain works with global enterprises such as Shell, the United Nations, Vodafone, Barclays, KLM, and SITA, providing secure, high-performance solutions that process billions of dollars daily. Our expertise lies in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications that ensure data integrity, automation, and compliance.

Applied Blockchain has extensive experience in supply chain and logistics, having developed blockchain-powered solutions for supplier management, product tracking, and financial reconciliation. For instance, we partnered with CryoPDP, a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, specialising in the life sciences and healthcare sectors, to build  a blockchain solution for tracking critical medical shipments, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and real-time visibility across complex global supply chains. Additionally, we’ve developed a supply chain tool for tracking products, orders, invoices, payments, and financing on the blockchain. Barclays’ Trade Finance team tested the tool with a UK food manufacturer to incorporate it into a nuts supply chain, exploring physical product tracking, ERP integration, and ingredient mapping.

Our blockchain-powered supplier management system ensures complete transparency, automation, and trust, streamlining supplier performance tracking, compliance, and risk management while reducing inefficiencies and disputes.

Managing supplier data across multiple sources is often fragmented and manual, leading to delays, errors, and inconsistent reporting. Our solution securely integrates data from contracts, work orders, financial systems, and safety records, using smart contracts to automate compliance checks, risk assessments, and reporting. This eliminates manual tracking, enhances accountability, and provides real-time, verifiable insights, giving CBRE full control over its supplier ecosystem while improving efficiency and decision-making.

Applied Blockchain has been invited to advise the UK Government at the Houses of Parliament, House of Lords, and UK Export Finance on blockchain applications. Additionally, we were selected as the Industry Representative at the inaugural All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Blockchain, demonstrating our expertise and thought leadership in the field.
