About
New technologies are currently altering traditional healthcare systems, and Betterise is helping to make the most of it – by becoming a personal wellness concierge! Either on their smartphones or from their computers, users receive daily highly customised advice, articles and challenges, helping them to live a healthier and happier life. Established French doctors and medical experts have teamed up with specialised IT engineers to create a unique powerful algorithm that tailors advice to each profile, keeping in mind the popular saying ‘a healthy mind in a healthy body’. Betterise is already today an award winning company that is helping thousands of users to take care of their wellness. How does it work? To set up an account, the user only has to answer a set of basic questions (age, gender, height, weight, etc.) and then has immediate access to the service. Instead of a long, laborious questionnaire during the registration process, Betterise builds up the user’s profile a little more during each visit, thereby keeping up to date and improving constantly. Every registered user has access to 3 different features 1) The Home Page. The home page will contain no more than 10 entries at a time. Each time they log in, the home page will encourage users to answer 2 or 3 questions which helps the algorithm build their profile. It will further feature advice, recipes, quizzes, all customised on the basis of previously given information. The home page pieces are easy to incorporate into your daily life and only take a few minutes to read. 2) The Dashboard. The dashboard is a summary of all data given by the user or synchronised from their tracking devices that are compatible with the application (Jawbone, Misfit, Fitbit, ...). Data for each category (sleep, nutrition, activity, stress, etc.) is visualised as charts and accompanied by customised messages that interpret the input. The dashboard gives the users an overview of their personal health and life style. 3) Coaching programmes. Developed by professionals (doctors, nutritionists, cardiologists, etc.), the coaching programmes are there to challenge the user’s habits (giving up bad ones, keeping the good ones) and providing relevant scientific background. To access the platform (website and mobile apps) users have to pay a monthly fee, but rather than charging the final customers, we are more looking for companies to buy global licenses and redistributing access to their employees and customers, as part of a corporate wellness strategy. Harmonie, the biggest health insurance company in France, is already using our service, and English companies could follow their lead and offer Betterise to their customers and employees - and with them, everyone could benefit from our system.
