We're building an app store of AI services to help poultry companies comply with stocking density and harvest weight requirements. This automation saves planning teams 10% of their time, and avoids reputational and financial damage from non-compliance. So far we've launched two apps that predict the weight and stocking denisty of poultry. Companies are excited by the potential of AI and want to get onboard, but analytics in poultry is dominated by 2 ERP companies who offer generic services. There is an immense lack of choice and quality of software tools available. As a response, large poultry companies currently hire specialised planning teams, who predict flock weight using a mixture of spreadsheets, and heated debates. They spend >20% of their time doing this, and usually achieve 80% accuracy. In parallel, retailers have begun to experience the consequence of supply shocks, and compliance technology is one of the key ways to reduce the number of empty shelves.
