We are looking for a partner in the hand sanitiser market regarding BALL-ISTIC 19. It is a ball shaped hand sanitising unit with two or more integral balls within it that when rolled in the hands releases sanitiser similar to that of a deodorant with a ball(see illustration below). This was registered with you on 13th April this year through your website and we were wondering if this had been brought to your attention? Willy has a global patent pending (Patent No 2005380.7) on this already and has Trade Marked BALL-ISTIC19 (TM No 3483855) as a brand in its self. The caption he is using is" STOP CATCHING COVID19...BY CATCHING BALL-ISTIC 19 THE ANTI VIRAL BALL", Ballistic being "blow up the virus" and killing any virus out right. I believe this is an extremely innovative clever device and timely given the current situation. Aimed at young children and anyone who has difficulty either physically or conceptually with the current need for constant hand washing and sanitising, the ease of handling and the automatic dispensing of sanitiser is unique and I believe it could be a global opportunity for the brand- it could fit well with RB business offering In the sanitising sectors. Plus beyond Covid19 this would be an excellent solution to the fact that children are super carriers of flu viruses and Noro viruses etc. Its conceptual at the moment and would need a manufacturer and design guys to look at it to come up with STA drawings. We envisage it as made from recycled plastic such as your liquid detergent bottles and would be two halves of a ball with integral smaller balls, the two halves snap together with a liquid seal and integral silicon refillable valve. The integral balls locking devices already exist in roll on deodorants. I believe this could be a great global opportunity for RB, particularly with both Dettol and Lysol Brands. We are looking for RB to become the Licensee of BALL-ISTIC19 if this is something you would consider. I believe it could be an excellent opportunity for RB to capitalise on this new innovation as the manufacturer and distributor. We are talking to a number of Injection moulding companies with a global reach as the manufacturer for the Ball but you might prefer to take it on all “in house”, In any case it would have to happen in many countries to reduce its impact on the environment for which RB is wonderfully suited. It could be any size for different age groups if required, imagine if the WHO got hold of this in this current environment and how it could be used in the third world where water is scarce and the water saving features it simply offers/carries with its design.
