Airscan is an end to end solution, from bespoke hardware to software and front end dashboards for air quality management, traffic monitoring, footfall measurement and many other Smart City applications. Our platform capabilities are being developed to use AI and Computer Vision. Our smart city sensors consist of Air Quality Monitoring (NO2, O3, CO, CO2, SO2, Particulate Matter, heat and humidity), Traffic Congestion Monitoring, Footfall monitoring Sensors, Acoustic Sensors, Gully Sensors, Bin Sensors, Crash Barrier Sensors, Road Temperature Sensors, Gate Sensors, Manhole Sensors, Sewer alerts sensors and water quality sensors. We manufacture all our products here in the UK. We specialise in communications and our devices can connect to any network such as 2G/3G/4G/5G, NB-IOT, Sigfox, LoRawan, U-Blox (Thingstream) USSD, WiFi and ethernet. Developed by IoT specialists our cost-effective sensor technology and can be quickly and easily deployed on existing street furniture or on 'pop-up' projects. Airscan's environmental monitors are already installed on street furniture in towns and cities across the country. Airscan's Journey time solution has been tried and tested by Highways England on the M3 Smart on diversion routes. The system can calculate journey time and provides real-time accurate information to variable message signs (VMS), while informing works supervisors of any traffic congestion, such as that caused by collisions. Our new image recognition camera technology, combined with machine learning, profiles vehicles and is capable of accurately classifying vehicle type (ie car, HGV, motorcycle etc). Data from all our sensors is sent to our AWS cloud hosted servers in real time and presented onto device agnostic dashboards. Our open APIs also enable data to be sent to third party platforms. We also offer a data analysing service and build monthly reports for our customers to highlight events. Airscan is the only solution that provides real-time insight to help cut pollution and traffic congestion, with added Smart City Sensors, whilst keeping costs low.
