Blue Light is good and bad
But I would add to that that even the good can be divided into good and bad. So, BLUE light = Good/Bad and Bad.
Light with wavelengths of
¤ 460-500nm - we need it during the day (from sunrise to sunset) - GOOD for our circadian synchronisation, as it lets our biological clock know it's daytime. It's that beautiful blue, cyan, azure. Since we spend our day indoors, it's a light that we miss so much during the day, since today's common artificial light sources have very little energy in this area. Solution ? LED luminaires SPECTRASOL, which have just enough energy in the 460-500nm region.
¤ 460-500nm - we must not use it in the evening and at night (after sunset) - BAD for our circadian synchronization, as it gives our biological clock the wrong information that it is daytime, even though it is no longer so. Solution ? Lamps without short wavelengths (no blue and also green) mimicking the spectrum of fire.
¤ 380-450nm - dangerous for the retina of our eye (we find it in smartphones, monitors, screens and in ordinary LED lamps) - BAD for our eyesight, as its action produces free radicals on the retina of the eye, which cause long-term and permanent damage to the retina. Solution ? LED luminaires SPECTRASOL, which have a minimum of energy just in the 380-455nm region and in addition contain photobiomodulation energy in the 665-675nm region, which protects the retina of the eye in real time.
